Like many projects, Clifford Chance started with visitng their existing office in DIFC, Dubai, and observing the way the office operated.A photo survey and then copius notes were taken identifying issues such as storage and work flow before work on the design began in earnest. 

 

Again, In the Iconic Tornado Tower  the project was developed around the same principles that defined the DIFC office , In material terms  the corporate requirements were met. However the key to making space work in the tower was the interface between the dividing walls and the facade. NB the structural V columns are raked and offset from the facade which makes sound insulation a challange. With our experience in Tec Interiors on the PWC office we had analysed this structural element and come up with an efficient solution for all interactions with the Glazing, This experience resulted in Tec Interiors working continuosly in the building for two years..
