Clinton Street Bakery was provided to Aspect Interios as a design intent package from other designers.... this gave the general look and feel but had not detailing, some materials and a few 3d visuals. As a design management role our responsibility was to furnish the design intent with details and materials sourced locally where possible  to comply with the tight building schedule.

 

Close to Dubai Mall the bakery came under the governing authority Emaar. This involved an additional tier of project management to handle the demands of Emaar. This included a late requirement for installation of an environmental unit with gantries above the ceiling after that area had been completed. Lighting was shipped in from the US , Today the bakery has a queue outside most days and access on Fridays is virtually impossible.
